I worked at Irides Web Hosting full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Inexpensive hosting and convenient location.

    Cons

Didn't adequately staff and attrition caused me to leave when I was the lone engineer.

    Pros

The people and offices are nice. The benefits were adequate ad the company did spend some money on the professional development of the sales force

    Cons

Very low pay, inadequate infrastructure to compete for larger deals. Compensation plan was poorly thought out and created a situation where sandbagging was prevalent

    Advice to Management

Make it advantageous for sales people to achieve beyond their goal. Give them a percentage of the sale to encourage people to beat it.

I have been working at Irides Web Hosting full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

You get BONUSES that are random but well worth it.

    Cons

Khaos on the floor, no rules really just sell, sell, sell you get cash floor bonuses. You can lie to make a sale. WeB.comNO ETHICS. Or morals!! No drug test, so half the employees are on drugs, its obvious.

    Pros

The work can be interesting and at times rewarding. It's a unique work environment due to their parent company operating television and online media outlets.

    Cons

Major staffing issues; high employee turnover leads to long hours and 60 hour weeks where you feel like you haven't put a dent in your workload. More customers leaving the company than being acquired. Stressful workplace due to long hours requested. Little to no room for promotion; overall lack of experienced leadership at the higher levels.

    Advice to Management

Clean house with regards to upper management. This company has everything they need to excel in their chosen industry, however, they need people at the top who have experience with technical solutions and sales / marketing.
