I have been working at Iris for less than a year

    Pros

The mission and reason for the company

    Cons

Only want college degree graduates, when experienced people with no college degree are a perfect fit and are passionate to work for them! Enthusiasm goes a long way and great work ethics mean a lot to any company! Customers only care about the service you provide then, successfulness and your desire to please them, not the just fancy words!

    Advice to Management

Hire those that are passionate and want to help grow the business and satisfy its customers! Step Down a notch! Customers appreciate your sincerity and desire to please and satisfy them to make the successful!

I have been working at Iris full-time for more than a year

    Pros

You are hired fairly quickly and OK compensation. They try, creative teams are amazing.

    Cons

HR is a mess and doesn't know how to handle the various offices. Management doesn't understand leadership or people management. No growth because Iris loses clients and can barely stay afloat.

    Advice to Management

Revamp, get leaders who understand the market and employee satisfaction

great people, people really work hard and dig in as a team to get things done, challenging and rewarding work, detailed financial management to minimize downsides, tenured management team, work from home options and work life balance, good benefits, generous PTO

    Cons

need more alignment on collective vision for the future and core offerings, projects are highly specialized so not turn-key or process driven

    I worked at Iris full-time

    Pros

Casual work environment, work from home, decent benefits, cool co workers very doen to earth

    Cons

Don’t expect to progress in your career here. The focus is really on the directors to do the job while everyone else is left doing dirty work. Very unorganized. You are hired for one job and end up doing multiple roles or stuck stratchinf your head wondering what you are supposed to be doing in the first place all for low pay.

    Advice to Management

Create a better structure for all departments where the boundaries are obvious, offer your employees more competitive pay

"Great people, but slipping culture and environment"

I have been working at Iris full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great people, similar personalities and an attempt to bond with coworkers make up the environment. They do make the effort to listen to employees at times. Smaller environment allows for learning new skills, but you have to put in the extra work to do so outside of regular hours.

    Cons

Over the past year work-life balance and the fun, scrappy environment has started to alter. There have been some bad hires that are still being held onto, and management is slow or blind to swift correction and action. The employees are usually overwork, which is expected. It's all about the numbers right now.

    Advice to Management

Start listening more to the people that work there. Be willing to not hit the numbers you want in order to keep talent. Up your benefits and salaries to industry standards.
