Pros
If you work long hard hours you can make decent money.
Cons
Its hard to list everything that sucked about this company. THERE IS NO BASE PAY. They have no morals when they are taking other peoples' money. The current owner describer herself as a mother giraffe because, mother giraffes' 'KICK THE DAYLIGHTS OUT OF THEIR CHILDREN UNTIL THEY CAN RUN' The management will humiliate you infront of the entire company. You will be required to walk miles, 6 or 7 days out of week, will practice your sales pitch from 9-12, and will be doing sales from 12 until.... late.... It's a miserable job unless you enjoy manipulation unitelligent or old people to basically earn about $10 per hour if you're good at selling.

Pros
Great marketing tactics here! Goal oriented staff who are teaching systems to sale products. ICE is VERY big on wordplay, very careful not to alert customers, new hires, and, those who interview on the downsides of the business. "Lipstick the Pig."
Cons
Overall sad to say the cons sorely outweigh the pros. 6 days a week, 12 hours a day...Very young management, the systems are 'full proof' until you're being taught by someone who doesn't understand how to deliver the message appropriately or professionally. Too unstable, high rollers are placed on display for everyone to praise during a great week and almost literally crucified during tough or average weeks. Whether praise or crucified every ounce of exposure is given publicly in front of 30-40 other salesman. But hey these are the Garbage men of the business world, keep hitting the streets for scraps until you collect a fortune...

Pros
I didn’t go to college, and this place gave me the opportunity to get into management faster than I would have anywhere else. I was able to be promoted into a leadership position in only 6 weeks because I knew exactly what I needed to do to get there and I hit my goals! I loved being able to mentor people, as well!
Cons
Long hours and hard work. Someone that isn’t career oriented or hard working wouldn’t be up for the challenge

We just opened two locations so we are hiring in our Pittsburgh office. We cannot guarantee a rehire, but definitely reapply and we can go through the interview process.

Pros
If you want to work 6 days a week & long hours you will make some money. If you want an impressive job title quickly this is the place for you. If you love buzz words & vague motivational speeches this is the place for you. If you have a pulse they will try to hire you. If you want to work as a door-to-door sales representative for a fortune 500 company (Verizon Fios) then this is the job for you!
Cons
They are just trying to find door-to-door sales representatives to sell Verizon FIOS in rough neighborhoods. No base pay or compensation for transportation costs. Check their review by the Better Business Bureau BBB their superlative claims were not factual & "were in violation of the BBB Code of Advertising."

Pros
I had a great experience on my interview with Iron City Executives! I love the way everything was broken down and clearly explained. The advancement opportunity is unparallel to other companies I sat down with!
Cons
Long hours seems necessary to advance within the company. With a very fast pace atmosphere l.

Pros
Team nights are awesome. Bowling, mini golf, laser tag, basketball after work during the week. Iron City is a fun office to work for. Team bonding is a essential goal for all of us as an office. There is a support system behind each and every employee.
Cons
The hours are long and heard to get use to. Yet the opportunities you gain and lessons you learn about life are more gratifying.

Pros
At Iron City I learned a great deal about myself as well as consumer behaviors. The amount of coaching and guidance I was given from all the trainers was great. They also made the experience super fun!! I was able to take everything they taught me throughout my tenure with the company and apply it to everything I currently do.
Cons
The hours were just to much for me to take on at the time; however, they did teach me very valuable time management skills.

Pros
It can built up your resume! If you're a brown-noser, the CEO will promote you to "Executive Leader".....just look on their website; all of the Executive Leaders haven't even been there for a year!
Cons
Lied about the position; they use a bait-and-switch tactic to get you in the door for an interview and its nothing but door to door sales job selling Verizon Fios...its a glorified MLM/Pyramid scheme . You will walk...minimal 5 or more miles in the roughest, unsafe neighborhoods in Pittsburgh no matter the weather; having doors slammed in your face, gun shots and generally feeling unsafe. You will work over 50 hours a week M-F 11am to 9pm and Saturdays 11am to about 6pm....good luck with your work/life balance! Oh and you're forces to go on the weekly 'team ups' usually at a bar and the culture is very cult like.
