I worked at Irrational Games as a contractor

    Pros

-The people were hands down the best thing about Irrational. They cared if you were doing okay and I felt a real sense of camaraderie from the people in the trenches.
    - Lots of free food during late hours and compensation for lunches.

    Cons

-Crazy stressful environment due to massive crunch to finish up Bioshock Infinite.
    -Disjointed building
-Not enough bathrooms for the # of people employeed
-Management of the game was kind of a mess - lots of wasted work resulting in last-ditch sprint to finish the game.

    Advice to Management

Continue treating the people well, but please make sure to find a course and stick to it. Avoid what happened on Bioshock Infinite at all costs - it was incredibly damaging to crunch it out.
