    Pros

Working environment is too bad. If you just do your job it is a very easy day.

    Cons

You are just a number. No sick leave. No professional development. No dream manager. You are literally just an employee to bill towards the client (gov.) This job is like being a construction worker in many ways, minus the hard-hat and reflective vest of course.

    Advice to Management

Learn your limits and employees. Sometimes companies push to be big money machines, but forget about their employees and motivations to keep their employees. There isn't anything about this company that is presented, or informative, to keep me motivated about this company. The only good think is the community that I am helping through my gov. client. The rating for this company are very well deserved.

    Pros

Good locations and telecommuting options and the benefits are OK and people rarely work over the minimum number of hours per week. Mostly good intentions.

    Cons

Lower than average salaries and no help to learn the organization or what the client expects and no innovative thinking and reactionary firing based on client requests for real or imagined reasons and a solid inner circle.

    Advice to Management

Have an open conversation with employees from time to time beyond the inner circle if you can build the trust to do it right.

    Pros

Health Insurance and pay is good

    Cons

IBA does not support employee growth or engaged in employment satisfaction, not the only former employee who has recognized they will not stand up for or put employee first.

    Pros

Working for IBA can be a fantastic career move. You will learn a lot, be given lots of opportunity, and the company loves to hire from within when positions become available. If you apply a little hard work, you can really advance your career here. There is not an overly political atmosphere (as much as possible in this type of work) and you really do not have other employees actively working against you like you can in some of the larger contracting/consulting firms. It is really a team atmosphere. IBA is very supportive of advancing your career certifications and opens up training opportunities for all its employees as much as possible. The benefits are about average overall. There are some small bonus opportunities and the employee referral bonus is quite nice.

    Cons

Given the pros, you will NOT get rich working here. Do not even expect to make an average salary for your industry / title. Of course this is a natural balance to being given the opportunity to advance quickly. Additionally, the overall philosophy of the company ensures that individual employees will rarely be compensated above the industry average (even considering years of experience, etc). So if you do work here, try to think about how long and where you want to go afterwards. If your salary is your loan determinant of your job selection, you will most likely be disappointed. However, low pay is kind of a flip-side to all the opportunity at IBA. So if you view things in that light, it can be a great place to work.

Additionally, the healthcare options are pretty limited and expect to pay above average for your healthcare premiums.

    Pros

I truly enjoy the camaraderie and closeness of the people who work with IBA. The corporate staff is very conscientious of ensuring that new opportunities are looked at for the advancement of the employees.

    Cons

Lack of corporate leadership and staff communicating with the field.

    Advice to Management

I believe corporate leadership should communicate more with the goals and objectives of the company. Providing details on what areas we are looking at for future growth and opportunities.

    Pros

This is an amazing company to work for. Family-owned and run, IBA truly cares for their employees. I joined IBA straight out of college, and felt at home and encouraged right away. We worked for a great DOD customer, and had an excellent relationship with the COR, military, and government folks whom we supported.

    Cons

The folks on my team were young, but ambitious, disciplined, and motivated. We all spent at least a couple of years with IBA before moving onto bigger/ better things. A great spring-board into big companies.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the great work!
