    Pros

    Benefits and it’s a paycheck

    Cons

Management is terrible. I should’ve known this was a bad company after my interview. My manager laughed as he told me that there is no room to grow or be promoted and that I would be stuck in my position. HUGE layoffs. No raises. No reviews. Terrible two faced managers. Never work for a company who tells you you’re family and then fires everyone. This company does not value their employees or their customers.

    Advice to Management

I have none because management is as pathetic as it gets. All problems and concerns fall on deaf ears and upper management is more than ok with that.

    Pros

If you’re a favorite you can skate by for a while until they don’t like you anymore. Management is comprised of adults with a middle school mentality! (Immature and unprofessional)

    Cons

Like stated in the pros...if you’re a favorite, you will succeed here, that is if you’re able to see your peers treated subhuman the same time. Nothing is consistent this management team is unbelievably unorganized and unaware of really anything. They’re not very bright so if you are you can outsmart them at almost every turn. They focus on the negative constantly. They also exhaust a lot of their focus on making your time there as miserable as possible. As if the drive from Denver isn’t long or dangerous enough already...you’re gonna be intentionally upset on a daily basis. Eldorado which is the new owner is a terrible company to work for...very fake and misleading. Since this casino is undesirable to work at already you will be working with some pretty miserable people, the most toxic environment imaginable.

    Advice to Management

Eldorado needs to get a new management team and try to salvage what is left.

I have been working at Isle of Capri Casinos full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

This is my 5 word requirement.

    Cons

Since being bought out by Eldorado Resorts we've seen a serious decrease in benefits. Managers and above receive much more bonus wise than regular employees. Sr. management is very clicky. Salaries do not compare to others in the area. Their attendance policy is a joke. Depending on who you are, the rules don't apply. The list could go on, but I don't have enough time.

    Advice to Management

With all the benefits we've lost over the years, you could at least compensate all employees as well as you do the exec team. Or at the minimum, maybe cut out some of the frequent company paid "outings". Also, you're not above the rules.

    Pros

Majority of the property is part of a union. All full time employees that are part of the union are eligible for medical, dental and vision after their 90 day probation. 401k offered also. Smoke free casino.

    Cons

Lot of turnover for management. Annual raise is not performance based, everyone gets the same amount... so even though he bust your butt trying to go above and beyond the person who is slacking off the most is making the same raise as you. So no incentive to do a good job
