    Pros

Great firm to gain experience. They will throw you in right away. This is a litigation/trial firm. You will have the ability to learn how to effectively litigate cases. You will also get courtroom, law and motion, and trial experience.

    Cons

Pay is low for the amount of work. Technology not up to date.

I have been working at Ivie, McNeill & Wyatt full-time

    Pros

Warm, friendly people to work with, and a lot of responsibility given early on to attorneys.

    Cons

Workload is crushing; pay is mediocre; and general office support is thin.

    Advice to Management

Pay needs to be increased; work loads need to be evened out; make more training available; and, in general, take better care of your people.

    Approves of CEO

I have been working at Ivie, McNeill & Wyatt full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Young associates receive a lot of good experience. Small firm, so associates get to draft various types of pleadings. Supportive environment.

    Cons

The pay is below market rate. Associates are paid around $70,000. If pay was better, it would be a long term destination, but the low pay causes a high turnover rate.

    Advice to Management

    Share the wealth.
