    I worked at J. C. Penney part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Decent part-time hours and pay; company makes it very easy to work with its customers to resolve issues; management provides nice incentives and rewards

    Cons

Tight scheduling policy results in too few associates on the floor
    Our store had theft issues

    Advice to Management

Stores need two people in each department at all times, especially during open and closing shifts. A security guard in high theft stores who is able to stop and detain would be very reassuring to the associates and reduce shrink.

    Advice to Management

always treat the people who work under with respect, how can you be respected if you don't treat your peers with respect.
