    Pros

    Fun work environement, and somewhat flexible hours. Its nice to express interest in learning other departments so you can work different deperartments.

    Cons

    Managers complain about workers not getting customers to sign up for credit cards....YOU CAN'T FORCE PEOPLE IF THEY DON'T WANT TO SIGN UP!!!

    Easy-to-follow dress code
    Good employee discount
    Break Room with kitchen
    H.R. Director genuinely cares about employee wellbeing

    Cons

    The system used for scheduling was a little unpredictable for the first month or so.
    The training videos were not up-to-date.

    Advice to Management

    Give employees more information about emergency plans (evacuation routes, storm shelters, lockdown procedure.) ahead of time so they're prepared when the worst does occur.

    For a part time employee at JCPenney a good pro is that they offer flexible scheduling so you can take off when you need to.
