Corporate is corrupt. They find reasons not to promote people of color. Even if you meet all criteria for a promotion the will continue to move the goal post. I have seen this happen to multiple people throughout the years. It’s very sad to work for a company who doesn’t value your contributions. Need confirmation of this just take a look at corporate leaders and upper management.

Since you have more skills, they let others leave early but will make you stay late to cover their work. No one can cover for the international team, but we stayed late covering for everyone else. We do extra work and don’t get paid much more.

Little reward or incentive for work. Certain manager made work discouraging by continuously telling what to do with no positive feedback. Was also promised higher hours and was never the case once started.
