More vacation time than a lot of jobs offer; some cool perks (e.g. fitness center on-site if you are in the area as opposed to remote and far away); opportunities for advancement internally, even without specific qualifications/degree; many good people; some elements of good work-life balance.
Cons
Stressful at times; expected to manage a very great amount of information, responsibility, and work for the amount of compensation received in return; turn-over problem because of the other cons mentioned here, making it more difficult for those who stay longer; some management decisions very out-of-touch with others' everyday experiences.

This place is a mess

Work from home opportunity, nice people. Managers really wanted to help you succeed.
Cons
Their systems for tracking data and entering sales is the worst I have ever seen. It is so antiquated and hard to work with that no matter how many times you did it, you still couldn’t get it right. Training on everything was long, drawn out and boring as heck. Now the worst part is the compensation plan. Your salary is fair but commission is slim to none. If you don’t hit 100% of quota you don’t get paid any commission. There were several months where my partner and I reached 95% to quota and we got zero commission. I have never worked at a sales organization where I wasn’t paid for sales I made despite how far below or above quota I was. You should be paid for all sales whether you were at 10% to quota or 100% to quota. It is so wrong.

This is a company with a true understanding of integrity. When they say work-life balance is important they mean it. The support and communication here is unmatched. J.J. Keller is one of the rare companies who truly understand taking care of their employees so they can take care of the customers who depend on us. If you come in with a good work ethic, integrity and a positive attitude management will go the extra mile with you on your path to a successful career.
Cons
If you don’t like acronyms this is not the job for you. So many acronyms!!! Personally I have a cheat sheet to use until I can remember them all. The pay could be a little higher but work life balance is worth making a little less.

You start off in sales academy an 8 month process prior to shipping you off to your actual role. It’s all about building sales skills, so if you come from a separate background they’ll do all they can in their power to get you up to speed.
Cons
No overtime Schedules made a month in advance, however pretty understanding in case of emergencies

Taking risks is encouraged. They do not rest on past successes. There is long-term vision in the leadership. Executive leadership values people and their opinions.
Cons
There are many business units and product offerings that are vying for attention. It can be overwhelming for sales and customers.
