    Positive Outlook

I have been working at J. Kings full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Great leadership. The people at the top have done almost all of the jobs within the company at one point or another. It's a family business. Back stabbing is not tolerated. Ownership is driven to give back to the community and its customers when disaster strikes.

    Cons

There are very few holidays and vacation time is scant.

    Negative Outlook

I worked at J. Kings full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

You get an hour for lunch.....Most of the team are in the same boat so there is comradere..

    Cons

What ever agreement you negotiate as far as hours, salary or benifits, throw it out the window after your first day.
Management is pretty much dysfunctional, cant make a decision...they have no clue. Will terminate on the spot if an employee stands up to abuse...Moral is very low...evry year they have a very nice barbque outing with free food ,games for the kids...etc...this year, they cancelled...no one would go.....

    Advice to Management

Your doing it wrong...if you have a business plan, you should share that with your supevisors.

    Pros

when you work @ this company you got the chance to multitask which gives you a chance to learn and gain knowledge in different departments.

    Cons

some of the employees are not productive but are employed due to some connections/freinds from other jking owned companies and have the attitude....

    Advice to Management

keep up the good work and hopefully have better compensation package = ))))
