    Good Part-time position

    Pros

A great place to work temporarily, while in school or as a second job. Great benefits Friendly Coworkers Systematic tasks, you can't go wrong by following procedures in any situation!

    Cons

Have to learn everything on your own, little to no help from coworkers because they are busy or there is always still something to learn. You can't ever learn everything because the policies are always changing, you just have to keep up and learn on your own pace. Customers are quite rude at times but we must always have "customer obsession". They say you can advance after starting at chase in any position but anything besides a banker is hard to achieve because, they need at least 2-3yrs of experience which you don't have because we have worked at another position in Chase the entire time.

    The manager is GOD

Apr 13, 2021 - Vice President Software Development in Houston, TX

    Pros

I am not sure, maybe the salary and the value to have on your resume

    Cons

The manager is God, and everything depends from the manager you have. Doesn't matter if he doesn't follow any standard, everything has to be as he said, if he said I want you to finish this by tomorrow you have to finish, even if you try to explain there is not possible, he doesn't heard nothing. This was the first time I don't want to wake up to work, your quality life is gone. They way the manager talk you is not professional, if you say you expect to complete a user story in one or two day he interrupt you and laugh about the time you estimate and he said "I can do this in 5 minutes"

    Pros

    - Compensation is pretty good for new grad as the first job out of school. - A lot of training

    Cons

    - Doesn't have a good engineering culture, i.e., doesn't quite respect engineer work - This may depend on team, but our software architecture was really old and hard to work with - Doesn't have a good incentive, talented people won't get enough recognition
