    I worked at J.P. Morgan full-time

    Pros

Great benefits for employees and nice annual bonuses. Many opportunities for advancement and wonderful training programs.

    Cons

Chase used to be very customer focused but over the years the company and culture shifted. Senior management is mediocre and should be more understanding of each individual branch. Not all branches have the same clientele and traffic therefore management should not treat all branches the same. They should cater to the demographics of the local area.

    Advice to Management

Remember to praise your employees when they do well and appreciate them for their hard work. Good employees are hard to find. If you take the time to appreciate your employees, they will be loyal and work hard for you.

Branch Managers need to lead by example and be more present.

Senior Management needs to be more visable and appreciate the employees.

I worked at J.P. Morgan full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Aligned with current medical, dental, and vision benefit plans. One of the few companies left that offer a pension plan.

    Cons

Network type of company. It's who you know not what you know. Too many managers and not enough leaders in positions of influence. Too much outdated management where seasoned management unable to adapt to change and new approaches to lead people. Upper management view talent and leadership from a direct report as a threat. All resulting in minimal to no career growth opportunities

    Advice to Management

Focus on leading and not simply managing what you can control. You have been placed in a position to develop the future of the company. Allow for autonomy and become a leader
