I worked at J.P. Morgan full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Our Ohio team had some wonderful, intelligent, hard working members who worked well together.

    Cons

Ohio got no respect from NY and NJ though our productivity often exceeded theirs.

    Advice to Management

Quit being so Manhattan-centric. You're a global company. Act like it.

I worked at J.P. Morgan (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Pay was ok
    Benefits Great
My location had a drop in daycare

    Cons

Really hard to move out of the Line of Business where you started. If you start in Mortgage expect to stay in mortgage for years to come or until you get some specialized training for another LOB. The raises each year are laughable, even if you receive an exceed on your review every year. I was also asked in an interview whether I thought I could handle the position because I had children! No one would have ever asked a man the same question!

    Advice to Management

Make job movement more fluid by considering applicants from other lines of business.
