I worked at J.P. Morgan full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Opportunity to purchase JPM stock quarterly at an employee-based discount rate. Good benefits.

    Cons

Very heavy turnover. Inadequate training. Little support from management. Very bureaucratic without a human element. Toxic and very non-trustworthy work environment. Little opportunity for growth. No considerations taken for the branch location and its surrounding demography, and the resulting impact of this on sales opportunities.

    Advice to Management

Remember that your employees are human beings, rather than just numbers on a spreadsheet. Some employees truly desire to learn and grow - foster this desire and assist those employees. Be a true leader, not just a mouthpiece for corporate higher-ups that are out of touch with our community's demography.
