    Pros

Lot of opportunities to learn if you really want to, it does lean towards a technology company

    Cons

Lots of politics, dysfunction and chaos, lack of transparency

    Advice to Management

Fix the Culture, value Human Resources, they are not just numbers they actually run the business for you.

I have been working at J.P. Morgan as a contractor

    Pros

With company recognition they treat contractors and full timers equal

    Cons

Do so much work but not be recognized or approached for a full time opportunity. You apply internally so many time but they will still reject you because you do not fit their appearance. Everyone is all about nepotism when you ask for guidance on current openings you are told your own your own while they share the same information to those who brown nose you.

    Advice to Management

Look at someone potential , work is a learning experience , Not everyone with a degree will know everything the job offers, there are people who learn by doing and on the job.

I have been working at J.P. Morgan full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Pay and Benefits. Large company with many resources. Investments in technology. I can't really think of anything else at this point.

    Cons

Management constantly changes. I had 6 managers in 8 months. Work life balance is not very good in my department. I'm sure it varies greatly depending on what department you work in. Hours in the office, whether productive or not is valued. Politics and favoritism in my department. At times it felt like I was in a high school cafeteria due to all the gossiping. Expected more from this company but not impressed.

    Advice to Management

Listen every now and then. Be open to be ideas.

I worked at J.P. Morgan as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great and fun people. Extremely cheap to live in Delaware. If you don't screw up too bad you will most definitely get a full-time offer extended to you to come back to the delaware office after graduation.

    Cons

Work was extremely trivial. Something I felt a sixth grader could do. My daily responsibilities were a joke. They do not let you transfer locations for you're full-time offer. Because of this, I will be going to a different bank where I can work in New York

    Advice to Management

Allow worthy intern candidates to transfer lines of business and interview for a position that would fit their interests the best. I would have stayed at JPMorgan if I was offered an AWM position, but instead I moved to a front office position at another bank.

I worked at J.P. Morgan part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Not too pushy.
No work on sunday and holidays.
    401K

    Cons

    Salary is terrible.
Incentives are over-taxed which doesn't allow to compensate poor salaries.
    Rules always changing.
Very hard customers services. A lot of rudness and threat.
Little opportunities to grow if any.
Management responsabilities not appreciated as no change in the salary.
Possibility to be fired for no reason anytime.
Open longer than other bank on saturday.
No full time position for Teller.
    Health benefits not affordable.

    Advice to Management

Advices to the big management. Share with the little workers the enormous profits you make. We are an important part of your success.

    Pros

You get lots of vacation time up front. Flexible when it comes to your work schedule. Have a cafe in the building that makes decent food.

    Cons

After TRID being rolled out for the past three years, they still can’t get a handle on how to close loans. The loan process is utter chaos and no one is held accountable.
