    Decent banking job

    Pros

good work environment, decent benefits (401k, ok medical and vacation), decent incentive compared with the other banks. Pretty good technology compared to other banking jobs I had.

    Cons

Sick time is only one week, if you get Covid be prepared to use your vacation time. Company keeps changing incentive plans and cuts incentive each time the plan is revised, the bankers who bring the business get paid last after everyone in line gets the cut. Bankers always have to stay on top of their incentive tracking to ensure they get paid. The automated system that tracks referrals needs to be more streamline, otherwise there is a perception that it rearranges incentive on purpose to get bankers less in bonuses. No pay raises whatsoever. Never worked for a company that does not give pay raise every year. (complete disregard for inflation) It also was not communicated to me when I was hired. You have to be a notary, and notarize external documents which does not give you any more money, puts you at risk of being sued and takes away your time from work. Investment bonuses cap for bankers don't make sense for business. Incentive is highly dependent on location

    Great Firm Bad Management

    Pros

Amazing opportunity for growth. Commission and benefits are great. If you have a great branch you are golden.

    Cons

Chase is a great company. The only thing that is tainting the reputation are the managers and market directors that are incoherent with their job responsibilities. If you are not part of the "click" then you will be stuck where you are. You have to be their pet to get anywhere in the company.
