I have been working at J.P. Morgan full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great benefits, time off, vacation, personal time, sick time, floating holidays, pension + 401k and great work schedule in auto finance.

    Cons

Partisan decision making with promotions. Upper management do not promote hard earned work or by any means of ethical and moral standards. Upper management promote family, socially inclusive, partisan unethically selected candidates based on a politically pre-selected arrangements within the department.

I worked at J.P. Morgan full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

All of the banking clients are accessible to cross-sell products to, it is a warm call when they already do business with Chase. Not too high pressure as long as you are producing numbers.

    Cons

Too many pointless meetings with partners about leads you've already discussed, and management about compliance.

I have been working at J.P. Morgan full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Closed on federal holidays. That's all folks.

    Cons

As a branch employee they have taken all bonuses away from us. This company treats their customers better than the employees, great place to bank but not to work. The company only cares about lining the stock holders wallets while the front-line employees get paid the lowest in the industry and deal with all the customer complaints. A lot of employees are unhappy with the many changes, but are afraid to say anything in the company annual survey, they say it's anonymous but management knows what employees write and fear of getting fired. For a company that states they are obsessed with their employees and customers, I say "show me the money."

I worked at J.P. Morgan full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Big name on Wall Street, lots of locations to work.

    Cons

Your job at the bank has nothing to do with Wall Street, and you will be treated as fodder for the wheels of commerce.

    Pros

The company is pretty good. If you get a great manager they would help you succeed.

    Cons

The salary that they pay is too low. Especially for someone with qualifications.

    I worked at J.P. Morgan

    Pros

It's a stable bank. Ok starting hourly pay.

    Cons

Recruiters will try to sign you in as a temp at a higher salary versus a lower salary as a permanent employee. Outsourcing. San Diego, CA office lack diversity; male minorities will have a harder time there. I was the only one in my department.
