I have been working at J.P. Morgan part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Flexible Schedule, easier hours, less taxing work! Perfect for a college student

    Cons

Customer service jobs are always a pain, and working in banking exposes you to a lot of sensitive sides of people!

I have been working at J.P. Morgan full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great place to start, a lot of people with experience to learn.

    Cons

Move here in the middle of covid. Hard to meet my peers. As is a bank, security is an important aspect so things that are easy to do in other places here are more bureaucratics.

    Pros

Company is great and co-workers are amazing. Great place to move up.

    Cons

The pay is not great. Only way to make lots of money in the retail store is to make it of off commission

I worked at J.P. Morgan full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great health, dental, vision, and discounts on accounts. FINRA licensing is also a plus.

    Cons

This is essentially an entry level, sales job despite the job description. Upward mobility is non-existent from the retail level. Most managers and DMs have no formal education and if they do college level is the cap meaning there is no management training outside of the JPMorgan Chase way.

    Pros

    Good benefits and good people

    Cons

No work/life balance. Many managers work 6 days a week for 9 or 10 hours a day. Short staffing is a problem in pretty much all branches and managers are the ones that take on the added responsibilities.

I have been working at J.P. Morgan for more than 5 years

    Pros

The benefits are definitely one of the top things on my list! They put emphasis on appropriate compensation. Great customer and employee focus.

    Cons

I see the main opportunity as being the current state of excessive regulatory oversight. It impacts both the customer experience and at times creates an adversarial climate.
