I have been working at J.P. Morgan full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great Benefits, great networking opportunities, diversity is rife

    Cons

Its very easy to get comfortable when benefits are good and salary is good but there are so many amazing opportunities so you have to learnt o balance your work life an attending events to ensure you are actively seeking new opportunities even when you love your job!

    Advice to Management

Don't be so hesitant and rigid when it comes to promotions, when someone deserves a promotion make it happen for the employee, don't weigh up time in role at a certain level, base promotions purely on promotion and effort put in - retention is key! People leave the company and then come back into the company to receive VP/ED level faster, I don't think this should be a thing, retain your employees and promote your... employees when they should be!

I worked at J.P. Morgan full-time for more than a year

    Pros

JPMorgan provides great benefits and your colleagues will keep the highest standards of professionalism that you can't find around in different companies.

    Cons

Not very challenging, you can do your work in a few days and sit on the factbook for the rest. A lot of blockers on the way, no opportunities for implementing new ideas and manage them.

    Advice to Management

They are great, I rather get advice from them, it's a fantastic environment and it's done by them.

I worked at J.P. Morgan full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great benefits - opportunities to move departments easily under line of business

    Cons

Hard to move out of line of business unless you know someone. It’s not what you know it’s who you know there. If you’re sick it’s a problem and if you use your sick time that’s a bigger problem.

    Advice to Management

    Don’t micromanage.
