    I worked at J.P. Morgan

    Pros

Name recognition, this used to be a great bank before Bank One bought them. Cutting edge technology and great commercials make it easy to speak with prospects.

    Cons

You are only a number, the bank is only concerned with profits and the quickest way to show double digit growth (which as a stock owner is nice). Use this position as a stepping stone, unless you become friends with someone high up, you will not be able to advance. Be very careful about disagreeing with anyone, they hold a personal grudge forever.

    Cons

Absolutely no appreciation shown to its employees or its top merchants. Terrible place to work and lack of respect for work-life balance.
