    Pros

    Great coworkers, work life balance.

    Cons

JAS isn't an environment which fosters growth and upper management is able to mistreat staff with little or no reprimand. I wouldn't recommend this place to a flea.

    Advice to Management

Please select LEADERS instead of "managers". A lot of these "managers" have serious psychological issues and need to be tested before leading others. Glad to be gone!

Good start job for white college grads, can move up within 60 days.

    Cons

A challenge for blacks; salary difference for those of another race. Unfair treatment.

    Advice to Management

    Please equal treatment.

    Pros

Close to Perimeter Mall and nice Restaurant around the office. Easy access to Marta Train station. Diverse background of employees.

    Cons

Benefits are a joke. Upper management does not care about employees. No raises. Bonus is very small if lucky to get one. Work is stressful.

    Advice to Management

Show some respect and treat employees the way you treat yourself. Look around the industry and see how poorly the company compares to its pairs.

The salaries are non competitive to the market seems like other competitors are willing to pay higher salaries to there employees

    Cons

not a place where you will grow, the owners son is a narcissistic typical European, if you are not italian you wont get far, your not appreciated and upper management lacks leadership.

    Advice to Management

Learn how to roll up your sleeve and get the work done, appreciate and incentive your subordinates.

Small company, not a lot of layers of management
If you are Italian, you can go far.

    Cons

    Small company
    Negative
Long hours with no recognition for hard work

    Advice to Management

Your perception of yourself may not truly align with reality.

    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at JAS Forwarding USA full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Beautiful and modern campus. Some benefits are good. On site cafe and free parking. Good location in the Perimeter area.

    Cons

Company was run by millionaires from Italy who practiced deplorable management techniques. There was tremendous favoritism and nepotism. There were many incompetent managers. Extremely high turnover.

Departments did not work together. IT department was incompetent and there was no HRIS system in place.

Position had many responsibilities belonging in another department, but nobody wanted to take the tasks on. Senior managers in the department had very high expectations and the workload was impossible to keep up with, even if you worked long hours. Position was highly micromanaged. Worst job I ever had in a very toxic environment.

    Advice to Management

I don't have any. They are not open to advice. The executives have huge egos and use intimidation practices. They are more focused on a gorgeous corporate office than the employees.

    Pros

Bosses are pretty good about not micromanaging and allowing you to work.

    Cons

They do not share information or plans with key employees who management expects to handle things. Management takes way too long to hire anyone when needed.

    Advice to Management

Keep employees informed of plans so we are not left in the dark.

    No opinion of CEO

I worked at JAS Forwarding USA full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Some of your colleagues might be friendly. They cater lunch for holidays (Thanksgiving/Christmas). They provide mediocre training for new hires. Their employee on-boarding process is standard.

    Cons

Nepotism is rampant throughout the company, regardless of whether you work at the corporate headquarters or at a local branch. Management will push you far beyond your limits, then even further until you break. Management does not keep their word when making promises, so if you do decide to work here, make sure everything is in writing. But even then, it's likely that they will not honor their word. There is no work-life balance. Constant micromanagement is the norm. Your efforts will remain futile and unnoticed unless you're a relative/have a close relationship with upper management. They pride themselves in their benefits package, but it's a complete joke.

    Advice to Management

If your subordinate raises an issue or concern to you, take action instead of sweeping it under the rug in order to avoid friction with the executive team. Also, listen to your employees for once.
