    Pros

There is a snack bar. You receive a 15 minute break every 4 hours. Pleasant place to work.

    Cons

Responsible for tracking pool water. Early morning shifts aren't the best, but most available because no one wants them.

    Advice to Management

Provide more in service training for staff. Have lifeguards move around more to keep them more alert.

I worked at JCC Metrowest full-time

    Pros

nice facility, free gym membership, and access to a pool. This facility is a community setting, family oriented. The members are mostly adults and seniors, not a really a place for the younger crowd. Reception staff is friendly.

    Cons

they only observe Jewish holidays, so you have to work on Christmas, NYE, etc. Don't pay well. Maintenance could be better and more timely. No raises or bonuses.

    Advice to Management

Give raises to your employees that perform well, and have meetings to introduce new employees, new CEO etc. so everyone is on the same page. Especially since they make a big deal about security. Not much room for growth.

    Pros

The best reasons to work at the JCC is for the complimentary fitness membership as well as the food offerred in t he cafe.

    Cons

Some of the downsides are the poor management as well the difficulty finding coverage for the days you might need for vacation or other personal reasons.

    Advice to Management

The feedback I would provide to Senior Management is to open the lines of communication with the lower level employees a bit more. Everyone should be on the same page as far as what's going on in the building with members and with the company, as well.
