    Negative Outlook
    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at JCP Portraits full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Decent pay and acceptable benefits. I actually have fun doing photography and meeting new people every day. Beats paperwork!

    Cons

High turnover because they don't pay entry-level employees enough and don't guarantee hours and many shifts are "on-call". People at the corporate level are apparently overworked because they are often unresponsive and don't address issues in a timely manner, if at all. Schedule eats up any usable part of the day. It can feel as if all you do is sleep and work.

    Pros

JCP Portraits was great at providing experience with interacting with customers and meeting there needs. The job also reaches you the basics of studio photography.

The 15 minute time slots for clients seems to be a bit short and can cause problems with customers.

I worked at JCP Portraits part-time

    Pros

Easy sales process. Okay hours. Sometimes fun to design your own photoshoot.

    Cons

Not everyone buys what you offer. Sessions can be hectic. Too little employees for the amount of sessions. Double booking for one time slot is THE WORST. Making up for Labor everyday.
