    Pros

The company has carved out a nice little niche for itself in the recruiting space. Solid business model that allows scalability to clients based on internal structure.
The people - you'll love the team you work with, the people are the most genuine and caring group while also being focused on achieving goals
A culture where "doing what's right" is expected and encouraged both internally and in client interactions
The company has undergone immense change in the last 4 years and come out stronger from a process and a people standpoint
Strong mission around the local community, volunteering, and charity

    Cons

The flexing of hours does not work for everyone
Holding on to people who are either under-performing or bad cultural fit - rip the band-aid off quicker
Sometimes a struggle to maintain work-life balance given client needs and workload

    Advice to Management

Continue to communicate with your staff and push for excellence internally and externally

I have been working at JCSI full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Mass is the home of pro team champions, as well as being home to the championship team in recruiting. People get things done here.

    Cons

when we have Whales instead of Goldfish.

I have been working at JCSI part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

JCSI is a great company for those looking to make a career change or wanting to get back into the workforce after staying home with children. They allow for flexible working hours, and put faith in their employees to get their jobs done. Management consistently pushes you outside of your "comfort zone" in order to take on new challenges and learn different ways of seeing things.

    Cons

Flexible schedules and working at home only works for certain situations. Because of our client contracts, you cannot be guaranteed a certain number of hours consistently. Again, this works for some but not for everyone. If you're up for learning new things, and being flexible with your schedule, this company is the one for you!

    Advice to Management

Continue to make the employees feel valued. Employee recognition and events go a long way towards employee satisfaction.

    Pros

Negotiated a great starting Comp package.
    Creative marketing.
    Willing to try new approaches.
Kind of like a college party which is appealing at first until you realize that your livelihood depends on it.

    Cons

Turn over. My gosh the turnover. The leader has kept two people from a group of hundreds over the past 15 years. He works in a way that sounds so good at the interview stage and then the nightmare begins. Changes direction weekly and is a really hard person to trust.

    Advice to Management

Surround yourself with good people and let them layout the path.

    Cons

I have been with JCSI for over 5 years. I would not stay if I was unhappy, I think that says a lot for the company. They have a lot of employees who are dedicated and happy to be here

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing. You have a created a wonderful environment that I am proud to be a part of. I enjoy sharing with others what JCSI does, and what the company has done for me.

    I worked at JCSI full-time

    Pros

    People, food, booze, coffee, tv

    Cons

Exploitation, removing responsibility, depleting self esteem

    Advice to Management

Empower your people. The chit- chat, scheming, closed conversations breed contempt and resentment...could be a good culture but toxic management choices prevent that from ever surviving.

    I worked at JCSI full-time

    Pros

Good experience for a resume when you have nothing else on there. They like hiring 20 yr olds out of college.

    Cons

Expect to get laid off shortly, and don't pin your hopes on anything management says.

    Advice to Management

Maybe get some sort of forward plan to give some stability to the company.

    Pros

Great people, fun-loving company and lots of opportunities to grow and learn new skills depending on your own self-initiative and success at achieving assigned goals. Supportive and respectful work environment.

    Cons

Constantly evolving and changing processes and focus can cause change fatigue, better and more consistent communication would help overall.

    Advice to Management

Be more consistent in communication and seek more input from front-line staff, give new approaches more time before changing, and follow through on commitments.

I have been working at JCSI (Less than a year)

    Pros

JCSI does an excellent job at scouting out the talent for a job opening and filling a role as soon as possible. AND they do it for less!

The environment is extremely warm, flexible and team oriented. We even work out at lunch time together and have lunch brought in once a week!

    Cons

I can't think of any cons at this moment.
