I have been working at JCW Resourcing

    Pros

The work-hard, play-hard atmosphere at JCW radiates from the management downwards. This entrepreneurial start-up recruitment firm provides its employees abundant opportunity to earn money and skills so long as they are willing to work hard. There's a reason why this company has gone from zero to one of the most important governance recruitment firms in the world in only eight years: it knows how to train and... cultivate (and keep) splendid employees.

    Cons

This job is not for everyone-- it's a hard-hitting, fast-paced role with long hours and high targets. It requires you to be turned on every day. Employees entering the training program must constantly demonstrate their growth and willingness to work hard.

    Advice to Management

The US director makes working at JCW a joy.

    Pros

JCW has a fantastic company culture and offers many benefits for promotion and moving up the company ladder. There is a great training scheme and support is constantly provided to help you grow and improve, at all levels. If you're ambitious and don't mind putting in the work, the benefits are well worth it. Everyone in the office is awesome, lots of fun incentives are offered and it's a chance to work in a really... neat industry with lots of visibility.

    Cons

The work/life balance can be tricky with the long hours but the work environment is a lot of fun so the time spent here doesn't feel like "work"

    Cons

The biggest con is the long work hours, but the culture and people you work with make it much more tolerable than other organizations. If you can deal with the long hours, you are sure to succeed!

    Advice to Management

Continue to promote camaraderie between consultants, as the people that you work with truly make the job better. Look into expanding the benefits!

I have been working at JCW Resourcing full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    - Self funded, dynamic and rapidly growing business, meaning that today's joiners are tomorrow's leaders. - The sky is the limit when it comes to career progression. If you're good and work hard then doors will open for you. - The culture at JCW is fantastic and you see this reflected in all of the team members. It's a supportive and collaborative environment, and even though you're working hard, there's still a... fun vibe in the office. The weekly beers, monthly nights out and company incentive holidays (Vegas, Miami, Austria) help too. - Commission structure is great and even people in their first year have the potential to take home some big pay packets.

    Cons

    - Working hours are long like in any recruitment job, but the office environment usually helps the day fly by. - Base salaries aren't great, but the commission structure is there to incentivise and reward good performance

I have been working at JCW Resourcing full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Feel part of the growth of the company as Managers are very transparent. Also, progression is a strength - you always know what you need to do to step up and what the next step will be. Training is awesome and there's a good culture as well with plenty of incentives, holiday trips, nights out not to mention the commission! Finally, the company offers a high degree of 'ownership' of your job, you can really see... where the effort is going in developing your area.

    Cons

It's a complicated role and can take some time to get the hang of all the different elements. It does require you to be driven and hungry for success and I've seen people who weren't as motivated as they said they were not make it.
