Great environment/Unlimited earning potential/Management and Logistic Executives are always willing to help. Really happy with how things are working right now.

      Cons

You will need to put in the work specifically for the first year while you build your business.

      Not worth it

      Pros

Decent management and coworkers. Not bad at first

      Cons

Round the clock work. Sell you a dream of making great money but it’s really not worth it. After a 3 month minimum training period, only making breadcrumbs, while managing another brokers account, getting into sales you should make commissions right off the bat rather than wait potentially months to hit those numbers. For working 10 hour work days plus weekends/ almost guaranteed round the clock after hours once you get business in sales.... commission shouldn’t be another 6+months away. Plenty of great sales jobs out there that allow a work life balance and more than a livable wage..keep looking for that job. Management will call all night/weekends and expect you to drop what you’re doing and work. Will wake You Up in the middle of the night. Again, for the pay not worth it.

DON'T FALL FOR THE 5 STAR REVIEWS

      Pros

The people you work with are nice. They fell for the same trick that you did.

      Cons

This company is the definition of a toxic environment. You are just another pawn in their corrupt little system. They prey on individuals who are eager to work/learn and crush their soul. They will micromanage you to the point of depression & since I have been there I have seen 40+ employees come and go. YOU ARE EXPENDABLE.

      Smoke and Mirrors

      Pros

Young, lively environment where you’ll easily make friends.

      Cons

Management is essentially a bunch of guys that think they’re still fraternity presidents at USC. You’ll work 55-60 hours a week to make 36k a year. Very few brokers make it to commission because the company itself has no competitive advantage over other firms, they just bid out every load to market trucks and hope for the best. There’s a reason only a handful of people there have lasted over a year.

Best company I've ever worked for.

      Pros

Bottom line, if you have a strong work ethic and listen to management you're going to be successful. They've proven it time and time again. Uncapped commission, fun culture, great location. Wish I started working here right after college.

      Cons

Like most sales jobs, it's hard to get the ball rolling, some long days here and there but once you adapt to the fast pace/dynamic industry it's easier to get keep it rolling.

Majority of these reviews are fake

      Pros

Top brokers make a lot of money

      Cons

There are just too many to list and I bit my tongue while working here. I overheard management talk about negative reviews on here before and go out of there way to leave positive ones which is why you'll immediately see multiple positive reviews after a negative review. No employees are happy while working here because you get blamed for everything and thrown under the bus by management. Extremely high stress with no career opportunities. Does not allow for you to progress and you will be starting from the beginning again when you inevitably leave or get fired (which way too many people I knew and became friends with had to deal with in my few years there)

      Pick the right brokerage

      Pros

Culture and togetherness of the company is really unmatched. There are a lot of freight brokerages in the country and it is my opinion that getting in with one that is so tight knit is key. The size of the company allows you to be more than just a number on the board and to feel valued for the work you put in. Promotions are only done from within and I can tell you that it can be extremely financially rewarding AND a very exciting place to be.

      Cons

Not exactly a 9-5 type job. You will have to work to build a book of business but JEAR gives you all the tools to do so. The only real downside is the life/work balance. There will be times you take phone calls at night but this can be hedged with preparation for the night at the office and our night dispatch team.
