I worked at JEVS full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good time off and holidays. Once you're in, you can stick around forever. Medical benefits were good too. I learned a lot about office culture.

    Cons

JEVS doesn't think outside the box or innovate in its field. Some shake ups in the senior staff would do the place good. I noticed a lot of infighting and nastiness from some long time employees. Not a lot of room for career advancement or raises. My requests for more responsibility were always denied. A lot of talk about budget cuts, but the org seemed very wasteful as a whole.

I have been working at JEVS (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Good atmosphere. Nice amount of paid Holidays. Vacation & Sick accruals are great.

    Cons

Pay is not so great. It is a Non-Profit. Medical benefits are OK.

    Advice to Management

If looking for high end paying job this is not the place for you. Definitely not a "Corporate" Environment. It's a bit more laid back which is a plus.
