I worked at JFE Holdings as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

Very friendly coworkers, great chance to learn and practice Japanese, professional company. At first I wasn't sold on the uniforms, however being able to change clothes immediately following work is a bit refreshing.

    Cons

They did not really use my skill set properly, there was much more I could do but I was resigned to things outside of my forte.

Pay was low. I was not expected to in my position, however some coworkers were working insane overtime hours.

    Advice to Management

Consider your employees fortes when assigning them tasks. Yes it's good to have a good breadth of knowledge, but why lower efficiency?
