    Pros

Decent pay and hours. Okay benefits.

    Cons

Real boys club. Complains about harassment are continuously ignored or not taken seriously.

    Advice to Management

It's not the 1950s anymore... act like it.

I have been working at JLL (More than a year)

    Pros

Flexibility, fun environment, benefits are competitive, phone and laptop, corporate card, a few good mentors, food, facilities with gyms and fitness

    Cons

Privileged, wealthy white men only thrive. If you do not fall in this category, you are most likely to end up stuck in a dead end job

I have been working at JLL full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

It's a paycheck and benefits aren't too bad. It's better than unemployment and marginally better than working for the government

    Cons

Cultural diversity is far more important than getting the job done. Management has no clue of what people do. Opportunities for advances are slim to none

    Advice to Management

Find out why your turnover rate is so bad

I worked at JLL full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good work related experience, job at company itself was fine. This could have been an excellent place to work.

    Cons

Jll will try to nickle and dime you when you travel-Very Unprofessional! Have to wait up to 1 month to get reimbursed. When you fork out 4 or 5 k of your own money up front, this is not good. They'll even complain about who you fly with. Continued harassment by Senior Account Managers out of the NJ office. Not there to help you. They replace one incompetent Senior Manager with another one who spreads hate and discontent everywhere he goes. Don't hear of these types of problems at other JLL accounts; just the NJ account for pharma. Company does not care how many hours (60-70 per week or more) you work. Pharma company not prepared to spend $$ on staff to achieve the level of compliance they are looking for.

    Advice to Management

Clean this out before you lose the contract. Highly unprofessional Senior Management team. Everyone can't be wrong.

I worked at JLL full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

there is no structure to do the work. left to the costumer makes things difficult to get things done. needs structure and contract that will help the employee do their job.

    Cons

it is left to the employee to help the costumer, also there is no help to the employee from the corporate and there is not much of improvement for the salary or status.

    Advice to Management

look at your employee as tool help your company success, do not look at your employee as tool can be thrown a way when no need to him or her.

I worked at JLL full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    My client was great.

    Cons

    A two part review;

    Two stars for JLL.
They lose one star due to putting my manager who has zero people skills, in charge of managing people.
They lose another star due to not monitoring how poorly she treats her employees.
They lose another star due to benefits which are ok, just ok, nothing to write home about.

One star for my manager, I only wish I could give her zero stars.
She loses one star for not realizing she lacks people skills.
She loses one star for not realizing she is extremely controlling ( or maybe she does realize it )
She loses one star for expecting her employees (especially the men) to be submissive subservient lap dogs.
She loses one star for conducting herself with the immaturity of a 16 year old high school girl.
She loses one star for showing total lack of respect for her employees and their skills.

You know there is something wrong when an employee starts another job search three months after he is hired.

No man who “owns a pair” would work for her for any longer than necessary.

    Advice to Management

Management does not listen to those of us in the trenches. Would it kill you to find out if someone has people skills before placing him/her in a position of managing people?? Would it kill you to monitor how managers treat their employees??

  9. "Don’t believe the hype!!!"

    Star Star Star Star Star

Current Employee - Operating Engineer in Milwaukee, WI

I have been working at JLL full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Good benefits, wages are ok.

    Cons

Ethics are talked about a lot, but not followed. Account teams get their way and are allowed to bully, insult and humiliate people (technicians) and you’re not allowed to say anything about it or you will be reprimanded!
No matter how qualified you are, you’re not going to get ahead unless your a part of the club. Favoritism is alive and well at JLL!
Work life balance doesn’t really exist, especially if you are a tech or a low level manager.
Pay raises are as low as possible every year and there are no cost of living increases. Goals are set for minimums, but there is no clear path to higher ones, your only told to right down your achievements, add them to your performance review and hope to get more than a one or two percent raise.
No incentive programs for lower employees, only very small discretionary ones ($50 to $100) if your lucking. Bonus programs do not exist for techs or supervisors, none what so ever!

    Advice to Management

    It’s too late for that!

I worked at JLL full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Time off benefits are good. They hire many talented people. Because JLL is a large company, you can find work easily enough when a position is eliminated.

    Cons

Management! As with many large organizations, expectations are set above what is even possible to achieve. When you approach management with your questions or concerns, you are fed the standard "learn to prioritize" (btw, I have always done this well thank you very much). Meanwhile when you need something from them to do your job, response is slow and information not complete.

    Advice to Management

Walk a mile in EACH of your employees shoes.... Do not assume you know how busy an employee is just because they have the same title as others. Each location is different.
