I have been working at JLL full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Some nice people to work with. 18 vacation days (but use them or loose them). Summer flexible hours, leave early on Fridays (but that is account specific).

    Cons

Company lack of commitment to its employees. Regardless of what their brochures say, they are a consulting firm after all and only care about the bottom line on their accounts. If eliminating your role will save the account a couple pennies then they won't think twice about it. And forget about them trying to find you another account. You will have to find yourself another account by applying and interviewing for internal jobs like everyone else does externally. No difference between internal and external candidates.
Account management are click-ish. If you're part of their click you will get promote (even if you don't have the experience). I seen coworkers feverishly trying to prove themselves just to get overlooked by a less experienced friend of a manager.
Account management deliberately lie to their clients by over selling JLL's goods and services. They are willing to loose some fees for under performing initially because they figured once the client has signed that 5 yr contract, they have a couple yrs to make up the difference. Again, they are a consulting firm after all.

    Advice to Management

Have more commitment to your employees. To minimize the high turnover, have some HR analyst specialized in helping internal candidates find other accounts.

    Pros

Great company with generous benefits. Talent is rewarded and promoted. Lots of opportunity to network internally and get to know other marketing teams creating more opportunity for growth. Tremendously smart people.

    Cons

Like many companies, the best people are rewarded with more work - JLL is no exception. At times this can prevent work-life balance.

    Advice to Management

Great job guys! I appreciated your advocacy for the local market.

I have been working at JLL full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

PTO isn't bad. Starts at 18 days/year as opposed to 15/days per year. Additional 5 days gained at 3 years instead of 5. JLL provides a cell phone rather than allowing you to use your own, promotes work life balance.

    Cons

Pay is low in comparison to competitors no matter the market. T&E policy is unreasonable. I frequently travel to NYC and have a very strict diet and am expected to spend only $45/day on food. It's a touch low unless you want to eat fast food at every meal.

    Advice to Management

Recognize high value talent not only by telling them, but by rewarding them with the training they request, awards, and salary. High value talent described as account critical won't stick around if the only way they're reward is with lip service.
