    I worked at JLL full-time

    Pros

Great morale. Awesome employees. Opportunity to be heard.

    Cons

There is no onboarding process. It would be nice to have a chance to learn their internal systems and programs, and have a chance to get settled in with the company. I understand there's urgency working here in making deals, but you have to learn to walk before you run. For example, on my first day within an hour, I had someone come to me and asked me to complete something. I hadn't even received my login information yet. If they were that busy, they should be hiring more than one person.
For this particular location (4747 Executive Drive), there is no parking unless you want to pay $15/day. You will most likely have to try and find parking on the street and walk about a mile.

    Advice to Management

If you want employees (other than brokers) to stay a long time, give them a chance to learn.

    - great benefits
    - good pay
    - many small perks
    - awesome work/home balance

    Cons

    no real managment structure

    Advice to Management

I have been an HVAC technician for 20 years that moved into an O.E. position. It's a tough case to push them into a direction they have no skillset in, especially without proper guidance and training. I was sought out and hired by JLL, not the other way around. Take that into consideration with all your engineers as they learn and grow with your company.

I have been working at JLL full-time

    Pros

Competitive corporate type benefits. (health insurance, etc...)

    Cons

JLL Valuation was created out of Integra Realty Resources. I used to have an enjoyable job, with tools and resources that made my job easier. Being an appraiser was a good way to make a living and the expectations and goals were attainable. Recently, JLL has made a switch which makes the job miserable. The production goals have been increased, but the resources we are given to do our job has been slashed. Unfortunately, I fell asleep at the wheel and missed out on applying to the competitors for a job. No joke, half the office has been sending resumes out.

    Advice to Management

Make working in Valuation enjoyable. It's more than "culture" emails. Make a serious investment in how appraisers actually do their job, so our jobs aren't life consuming and I can spend weekends with my kids.
