I have been working at JLL full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

JLL is a large company providing services to many accounts which gives an employee an opportunity to grow within the company.

    Cons

Most accounts are between 3-5 year contracts, so if the contract is not renewed then you are looking for a new job.

    Pros

JLL is very good to their employees and really care about a work life balance. Upper management is very connected

    Cons

IF you are in a rural area, do not expect advancement unless you are willing to relocate

I have been working at JLL full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Ability to work remotely, flexible schedules, management understand work life balance needs. You don't go unnoticed, your voice can be heard on topics affecting he office, your job, and the company. Pretty good benefits overall. I've seen worse other places.

    Cons

I would say compensation is the only downfall. I've loved everything else about JLL to date.

I have been working at JLL full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Hire plenty of college graduates when many companies will not give them the opportunity. Also get to work from home after a year.

    Cons

When first starting little to no training is given, sink or swim environment. After being there your workload will become out of hand.

I have been working at JLL full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Great company, great people. Great opportunities if you can figure out how to navigate the system.

    Cons

Promotions can be difficult. You have to drive your own growth. Increases are few unless you have an advocate to fight for you. Review process is flawed.

    I worked at JLL full-time

    Pros

Growing business with good management systems in place

    Cons

JLL is a virtual company, so employees sometimes forget they are part of a vast organization with significant capabilities.

I have been working at JLL full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Once hired you can self manage to a degree. You get to bond and work with the client contract company.

    Cons

Very high turn over rate. In just 6 months I already lost 75% of my staff. No true support from executive management only lip service. I am the 6th replacement for my position in 3 years. The company is a meat grinder in the biotech pharmaceutical field.

    Advice to Management

Bond with your site managers who are on the front line. Don't delegate if you don't know how much your staff can actually cover. Your on-boarding should actually last 2 weeks not the average 1 day.

I have been working at JLL full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Fun events (ie HR Summit, nice holiday party), relatively inexpensive benefits, Corporate Solutions structure puts HR in the center of the business and really asks HR to be a strategic partner for leadership.

    Cons

Systems are outdated/highly manual and yet expectations remain high. Client culture has strong effect on JLL experience.

    Advice to Management

Implement your plan for new HR technology as soon as possible.
