    Approves of CEO

I worked at JLT Group full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Exposed to a lot of products

    Cons

Bad culture, bad management, not understanding of employee needs or commitments outside of work. Bad work/life balance. No guidance. If you are not in the Sydney office and in the Olympic park office, good luck trying to move to the city

    Advice to Management

Sort out your processes and stick to them

    Cons

    - Local office is run by a tight knit group of neanderthals who have no respect for women and very little regard for women in general - People put in charge of things are there due to their ability to suck up and schmooze or nepotism - Pay is super skewed – if you work hard and one of the people on the ground, getting things done, you do not make very much money. Whereas, if you are a male account executive who really...

    Advice to Management

I am eagerly awaiting (as are many of my former colleagues who have since left the organization) June of 2018 when the 5 year plan for the current CEO of JLT Canada will be up - I fully expect mass firings at a senior level, followed by a complete collapse of the organization in Canada. This was once a great organization who employed a great number of truly talented and intelligent individuals - it is now a mere shadow...
