    Pros

Flexible hours, good HR department very supportative.

    Cons

Management tends to micromanage. No new leadership at the top which hinders new ideas. Management allows for "click groups" which isolate others and leads to bad morale.

    Advice to Management

Listen to employees, allow growth for new employees

I worked at JSA Medical Group full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Yes weekends, you're expected to get piles of work done. And go to the office if an alarm go's off. No extra pay for that.

    Cons

Piles of work you feel bad delegating because there is not enough employees. We don't know Company we are w/the buy out 5 years ago.

    Advice to Management

More Floats on hand for offices that need it on all levels. Ma to PCP. Davita needs to care about the little people & stop putting shows & writing them off as Learning

I have been working at JSA Medical Group (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great salary offer and Monday through Friday

    Cons

High turnover in medical Department with constant job advertising for the same position seems to be unable to keep not a good look for someone that is looking for a stable environment. After interviewing and seeing how rushed they were to interview and get you started made me decline

    Advice to Management

Employee retention is very important it shows your future staff how you will treat them and what they can look forward to possibly

I worked at JSA Medical Group full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Micromanaging all time high. Bullying newer nurses allowed. The worst office politics in my entire nursing careers.

    Cons

Management does things behind closed doors you don't even know even when it's about you. It's a doggy dog world at JSA. If you work hard they don't care, what matters is who you are friends with and how much power they have to keep you there. If I could give it less than one star, I certainly would.

    Advice to Management

Value good employees or they will go elsewhere with their skills!

    Pros

Benefits are great. Work Monday thru Friday.

    Cons

Favoritism from the managers at the healthcare centers. Unfair expectations. Some people get away with murder while others that work hard are overlooked.

    Advice to Management

They should have someone from corporate talk to the employees of the centers and ask privately about their opinion about management.

I have been working at JSA Medical Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Paid holidays, no weekends, 8-5 M-F - supposedly

    Cons

Leadership never listens to the needs of mid level management. In an effort to make themselves feel important, they pretend to care how staff feels.

    Advice to Management

Go back to the drawing board because what you're doing isn't working. 40% retention of staff is nothing to brag about.

    Pros

Good job opportunity depending on Manager

    Cons

Management at the Fountain Oaks office in Tampa is very condescending and likes to embarrass employees in front of patients and peers. Not fair to all employees and it's an office that has it's favorites and will only worry on own agenda. No teamwork environment.

    Advice to Management

Just be fair and no favoritism

    Pros

Bonuses are tempting and people feel they supplement the low salary. They do, but you won't last long enough to see very many bonuses. Nurses...stay away from JSA....

    Cons

Unresonable expectations, employees have to wear too many hats & are set up for failure. High turnover, quick to fire people where bottem line is not making the corporate supervisors, especially the regional managers look good. Told they has an open door, but if you go through it to share thought on how to improve the process...you will be fired. They leur nurses into Administrator positions, Case management positions with high bonus structure... but most are fired or quit within the year as the expectations are unreasonable and the Administrator and Case Manager will ALWAYS be the "fall guy" if it comes between them and the upper management looking good on paper.

    Advice to Management

The the parent company in California......... clean house in the upper management at JSA.... the turnover problem lays there. The new employees are very qualified and motivated... but with the present corporate director of Utilization/medical management and the supervisiors overseeing the office Administrators and Case managers you will continue to see high turn over and termination stats. You Medical director has no conscience and will sacrafice anyone for the dollar.
