Thank you so much for sharing your feedback. We’re so happy to hear you’ve had a great experience during your time at Jack Henry over the last decade. We agree that flexibility and time off are two key ingredients for a healthier work-life balance. We continuously review our total rewards programs and strive to offer a well-rounded package for our associates that includes not only compensation, but also growth opportunities, wellness programs, a generous 401(k) match, employee stock purchase plan, and other benefits designed to fit your lifestyle. We’re sorry you haven’t experienced the work-life balance that others have come to enjoy. We highly recommend you reach out to your leader or your Human Resources Business Partner to discuss options. Thanks for your commitment to doing the right thing and doing whatever it takes. We hope you have fun while you’re at it!

    great culture, benefits, and company

    Pros

Title sums it up, it is a great place to work with great people. Management is intelligent and aware for the most part with an exception described below

    Cons

Hard to communicate with other teams as things are very segregated even within a team. And expectations within each team isn't clear. So someone who you think should be able to provide info can't. It can definitely cause unnecessary headaches at times.

    Jack Henry & Associates Response

    Associate Experience Specialist

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience at Jack Henry while you were part of the team. We agree our associates are the best and our culture is extraordinary. Within the past year, we have enhanced our internal mobility policy. Continuous employment in the same position and department is now only required for a minimum of six months (no longer two years) before an associate is eligible to apply for a new position. Best wishes in your future career endeavors.

Dysfunctional, but the checks still clear

Jun 9, 2021 - Corporate in Overland Park, KS

    Pros

The pay is adequate for regular workers.

    Cons

Management can't figure out which end is up and they are in a regulated environment. They do not want to spend the necessary money to adequately invest in their employees, infrastructure and applications. Old foundational technology with a nice modern GUI to make it look new, but much technology is decades old and out of date. Management always plays the shell game to keep the balls in the air so they do not upset the clients, but never reaching processes to where they truly need to be. Lot of transition to newer technology, but only half-way before they change direction again. High turn-over with half being a choice of the employees who get frustrated with constant changes and never reaching a goal.
