They are not quite what they're selling you.

    Pros

Great opportunity to gain restaurant experience and exposure to some great industry proven leadership tools. Great place to learn the slippery slopes of "who you know."

    Cons

You will definitely be apart of an organized mess mandating 10hr work days. The tools are available however, there are far to many selfish people in upper management and that trickles down throughout the company. Well paid individuals throughout the entire company are all out trying to do their own thing and so it has gotten to the point that even the most entry level people are out for themselves as well. If you are not connected or content with mediocrity you will get pushed out or driven crazy. Open door policy is a farce and the most high human resources and payroll personnel will discuss your personal business affairs with others. Don't fall for it unless you know you have sub par standards or you are early in your career.

    Pros

-great way to meet international guest -learn through company's online training -promote quickly -ridiculous ID licensing even for 50 years and up -Secrets shops trump over consistent hard work

    Cons

-no breaks permitted -care less for breastfeeding mothers -double standards from managers -open door policy solves nothing -you basically manage yourself and problem solve by yourself -No benefits other than health insurance that comes out of your paycheck -Scheduling system is non existent -Does not provide hazardous pay for smoking lounge.

It all depends on what store of theirs you work at

    Pros

If you love the restaurant business and love fast paced workplace, then you are going to like it. But They have several stores across the country, so it all depends on where you are working at and what kind of staff, management and guests you are dealing with.

    Cons

If you work at a busy store, like I did, you will work every single minute of your work shift. Do no expect a break or anything. The pay is not that great. The customers were terrible where i worked at. And The management doesnt seem to care much. The higher authorities only care about the money and numbers.

    Pros

The best part about Jackmont comes around every other Tuesday. It's also called payday.

    Cons

Working a minimum of 11 hours+ a day is no good. When managers quit or get fired they wait for ever to replace the individual. Accounts frequently get locked because accounting is always overwhelmed or asleep.
