    Pros

    Learn new tax laws annually and we meet a lot of new people

    Cons

    The pay is not competitive, equipment is not up to date, there is a lack of communication between management and employees

    Advice to Management

    Communicate with the employees, they have suggestions that may be able to hel p the company grow.

    Pros

    This is a seasonal position. If you have a lot of clients, you can concentrate these about 3 month during the tax season, can make a good money.

    Cons

    Since this is a seasonal position once season is over if you do not have any other job,you will be unemployed.

    I have been working at Jackson Hewitt full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Flexible, meet lots of people, learn alot from ground up , summers are easy and worth the hard season

    Cons

    Pay could be better, training not were it could be although improving, not enough support staff. Season is high demand, long nights and never a day off

    Advice to Management

    Provide better training and continuing education. Update stores to look modern...all stores.

    Pros

    Enjoyed working with a few coworkers. If you enjoy a low paying seasonal job, this would be a good fit for you.

    Cons

    Charging customers outrageous tax prep fees. Targets lower income customers that claim EITC. Tax prepares that do not have adequate tax training.

    Pros

    Okay learning experience. Anyone can do it.

    Cons

    If you prepared a certain amount of returns, you were supposed to get a bonus. Well let me tell you they completely lied about this. Additionally the managers could care less about supervising the barely qualified employees which makes me question the accuracy and integrity of this company.
