I have been working at Jackson National Life full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

The best benefits including generous PTO, retirement account matching, low premiums for health insurance and balanced schedule. I’ve enjoyed my time as a Jackson employee and if it weren’t for circumstances beyond my control I would have liked to be with Jackson for a lifetime

    Cons

The pay could be higher but the benefits are plenty to compensate. Not many areas to approve upon I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here

I worked at Jackson National Life for more than 5 years

    Pros

The benefits and retirement plan matching is amazing. After 30 days the benefits kicked in and were top notch! The relationships with peers are great.

    Cons

Impossible to move up! After 6 years and attempts to move from the position to another in the company I received 1 interview and never received the position.

    Advice to Management

The service center has the smartest people, don't belittle them and stop treating them as disposable. I

I have been working at Jackson National Life

    Pros

Great amount of PTO if managed properly - Adequate pay - Monday-Friday -

    Cons

Shift bids every 6 months - no guarantee of the schedule every 6 months as hours are 8 - 8 a.m EST, Mon-Fri. There is an "us" and "them" culture between the Nashville office and Home Office in Lansing, MI. There is no room for true advancement. The culture looks at "promotion" as doing more within the current job role.

    Advice to Management

Be more for the people, and less of what "the parent" says.
