      Pros

401k, Good Pay, Good Benefits, Good PTO. Good while it lasted.

      Cons

Company is going down hill fast. They appear to be in the midst of dissembling the company bit by bit and selling off all assets. Not much future here. The Parent Company Prudential UK is attempting to extract all possible value out of the company and does not care if there is a functioning company left afterwards. They demand long hours and do not care about work life balance at all. They will call you all times of the night or day. Multiple times (pretty much weekly) I was on a bridge call for 12+ hours during off hours, and then expected to come into work with no sleep and work my normal working hours. No amount of Salary is worth that kind of stress. Pays a lot of lip services to Culture, but then just threw it all out the window. They simply do not care about the community like they claim. They out-sourced all IT infrastructure to a company out of India, and that Company is cutting all ties with the area and moving all IT jobs over seas. Support for the company is abysmal. People are leaving like rats from a sinking ship. Even in the midst of a global pandemic people would rather take unemployment then continue working here. Recently changed CEO's and most C level management (2019). New Management has made clear they are looking to Pump and Dump the company.

      Was ok while it lasted

      Pros

When first hired in, you could see the potential for growth in your career. They provided training where needed (was very limited at times). Good benefits. Great pay, 401k matching, time off, etc.

      Cons

There is a lot of politics at management level that stopped progress on many things. Monolithic apps that will never be rewritten that took away time from implementing new technology. Company outsourced IT operations (~300) to Tech Mahindra in order to prepare itself for sale. Took many people with years experience and knowledge, and threw them out of the door with little to no remorse. Before the outsourcing happened, you couldn't really guess what technical path would be taken as it seemed management was a year + behind where industry was. Communication no matter the department, was terrible. The yearly review process was a joke.

      Pros

Good benefits Flexible leave 2 hrs a pay period Great volunteer opportunities Clubs to join Coffee shop Cafeteria

      Cons

37.5 Hrs a week, so they don’t have to pay overtime Multiple floor wide all clears a month, stay until released Want to communicate with your manager? Good luck. They’re replies take 1-2 business days 100+ Lansing employees forced to join outsourced tech company, will lose benefit and pay and can be fired after one year. Very little information about it was communicated to other employees. Brushed under rug. Operations pay is not worth the work and demanding schedule Very little room for promotion Difficult to move out of operations to different departments Little recognition for hard work and overtime
