No clue what they are doing

      Pros

401k, Good Pay, Good Benefits, Good PTO. Good while it lasted.

      Cons

Company is going down hill fast. They appear to be in the midst of dissembling the company bit by bit and selling off all assets. Not much future here. The Parent Company Prudential UK is attempting to extract all possible value out of the company and does not care if there is a functioning company left afterwards. They demand long hours and do not care about work life balance at all. They will call you all times of the night or day. Multiple times (pretty much weekly) I was on a bridge call for 12+ hours during off hours, and then expected to come into work with no sleep and work my normal working hours. No amount of Salary is worth that kind of stress. Pays a lot of lip services to Culture, but then just threw it all out the window. They simply do not care about the community like they claim. They out-sourced all IT infrastructure to a company out of India, and that Company is cutting all ties with the area and moving all IT jobs over seas. Support for the company is abysmal. People are leaving like rats from a sinking ship. Even in the midst of a global pandemic people would rather take unemployment then continue working here. Recently changed CEO's and most C level management (2019). New Management has made clear they are looking to Pump and Dump the company.

      Good place to start....then leave.

      Pros

If you get on the right team, this place is amazing! First two years I worked on a great team. Great management that knew how to have fun and work hard. Moral was high. Flexible work schedule. As long as you are at work during normal-ish business hours, it's all good.

      Cons

First two years I was under management who, while nice, didn't like to give promotions, even the time-based ones. Third year, the whole team switched management to someone who knew how to work hard, but not how to have a personal life. He took away the personal lives of everyone on the team by demanding long hours, odd shifts, and personal-life sacrifice. Moral went down and about 1 person a month left. I spoke with HR a couple of different times, but no changes were made. Management thought they could boost moral with promises of iPads and parking spots closer to the building. Since it is a financial institution, on-call stints are brutal. Career Opportunities are based on favoritism by the management. Compensation gets better with seniority. Low levels get below average and upper levels get above average. Work/Life Balance is preached but not practiced.

Good benefits, average pay, poor career path

      Pros

There are lots of windows and it is nice to see the trees outside while at work. The benefits are very good and the yearly bonuses are decent. There are some great people working around you. There is talent if you know where to look. The insurance side makes a ton of money so the company is stable.

      Cons

Management expects and has even forced teams to work overtime. Anything less than 45 hours a week and they are on you. They will do anything to make a promised date, including putting in a broken system. Management doesn't care because developers are the ones working long hours and early mornings supporting broken systems. Quality assurance is nonexistent. There is only one way up also and that is to be part of the management click. They hire their friends and aren't capable of data entry let alone management. The corporate culture is poisonous and the politics as bad as you will find at any sizeable company.

      Pros

Very flexible, pays well for a college student, great working environment. The work is not too difficult, it may start off difficult but you can easily get a hang of it.

      Cons

Very repetitive, work can get boring. Working long hours there can be difficult because you're sitting in front of a computer doing the same work everyday.

      Pros

      1) Decent pay for your experience and they will compensate you for your hard work. 2) Will reimburse you for your schooling. 3) Health benefits are better than most companies. 4) Very stable company that you can feel comfortable in maintaining you job.

      Cons

      1) Corporate atmosphere, so lots of politics involved in hiring/promoting. 2) Upper management is primarily female and very clicky. 3) Operations associates have to work long hours with no schedule. 4) The majority of management are people with little/no education and have worked at the company since they were 18. They know nothing else besides Jackson.

      Pros

      The co-workers are very friendly.

      Cons

DO NOT take a customer service position here. They make you work long hours with little or no breaks and they often take your lunch away as well. They pay you next to nothing and they take all dignity you ever had
