Interview and onboarding process is super efficient and thorough. Every person I have met is beyond friendly and very knowledgeable. The service that is offered is top notch. The leadership is super supportive and with admirable work ethic. All the resources that you need to do your job well is provided. Amazing mentor system is available. Uncapped income potential is a fabulous opportunity.
Cons
There are not any cons in my opinion.

Unbelievable earning potential - I don't know what else I could do that would allow me to make this much. Competitive base salary + incredible bonus potential through commissions. JPS doesn't just pay commissions on placements like most recruitment companies, they incentivize every step forward in the recruitment process (with options to earn bonuses for interviews, repeat business with clients, achieving quarterly placement goals, etc. as well as placements.) It's easy to collaborate/strategize with management when you and the leadership team have the same goal: helping the hospitals and practices we work with secure as many highly qualified physicians as possible. (again, goes back to the fact that our commission incentives are incredibly well-aligned with the company's overall goals.) If you want to grow/take on a leadership role in the company, you are encouraged to do so - you have all the opportunity in the world and will have plenty of mentors. JPS is part of Jackson Healthcare, which owns 15+ healthcare companies. I have never doubted the stability of my employer. Strong benefits (start with 15 days PTO Year 1, good healthcare, all the other expected benefits.)
Cons
Obviously I really like working at Jackson Physician Search. I guess the only con is that it is definitely the type of job that you "get out what you put in" - there are plenty of resources to support you, but at the end of the day it is up to you how much you want to put in. I think our happiest employees are fairly naturally driven/intrinsically motivated.

Great Culture. Great People. Great Company!
Jan 4, 2022 - Anonymous EmployeeRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Jackson Physician Search has built a culture that most businesses try a lifetime to achieve. We have the perfect combination of great people and great leadership, and the internal support to succeed at our jobs. Sure the campus in Alpharetta is an amazing place to work from (and amazing is an understatement) and we have 3 other great offices in Denver, St. Louis and Dallas, but those are just an added bonus. We have an incredible group of people that genuinely want to work together, and we're in a great industry where we can truly make a difference to the communities around the country that need access to healthcare. Culture starts at the top, and Tony Stajduhar has helped create as good of a culture as I've ever been around.
Cons
The only challenge I've observed is creating an even more cohesive team when we have 4 offices across the country and only have limited opportunities to all be together in 1 location. I know the company tries hard to get everyone together at least a few times a year, and it's been especially challenging the past few years with the pandemic. As we create a more cohesive team across the 4 offices, I believe we'll also benefit greatly from the shared knowledge and best practices that have been implemented but need to be shared across all offices. If we can figure these challenges out, we'll be unstoppable!

Worst President
Dec 14, 2021 - Search Consultant in Alpharetta, GARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
The parent company, Jackson Healthcare, has many great benefits and an incredible campus. Jackson Healthcare is a very philanthropic and community minded organization . Too bad Jackson Physician Search tarnishes JH's name.
Cons
JPS' president, Tony Stajduhar, is extremely egotistical, an awful male chauvinist, is very passive aggressive, dishonest, and not to be trusted. As a self-proclaimed master of physician recruitment, he regularly gives unsolicited, obvious and remedial, advice in a demeaning manner, even to those with years more experience than him. He is unable to naturally garner respect, so he tries to force it. This is why he surrounds himself with "yes-people" and tries to manipulate everyone around him. He likes to hire women because of his inferior view of them and believes they are easier to control and better to look at. The regular harassment (sexual and otherwise) was beyond inappropriate. Tony preaches of a "family" culture, but it's all talk. Disagree with him or any of his cult-like followers and say goodbye. Pee-ons must keep their head down, work hard, and leave all business decisions to those behind closed doors. As long as JPS has adequate positive returns YOY, nothing else matters to Tony, including the wellbeing of associates. He regularly steals others' ideas and takes credit for everything himself. In addition to these documented behaviors, the things Tony has said about JPS co-workers, other JH employees, and clients alike were disgraceful, often sexist, ignorant, regularly abrasive, completely contrary to JH’s core values, and if made public, would beg condemnation, and demand his resignation. Tony should be ashamed of himself, as should those in his inner circle that feed his already enormous ego and let him get away with these continued behaviors. Time will be his enemy.

- Company dedicated to providing best in class service to clients - Knowledgeable recruiters with excellent training and support - Lucrative compensation and uncapped commission bonuses - Great leadership who value their employees and have a strong strategic vision for the future of the company - Amazing President's Club incentive trips - Barcelona, Paris, Maui, St. Kitt's, Ireland! - Camaraderie and collaboration that is rare to find among recruitment firms
Cons
- No complaints! If you have drive and determination to work hard, you will succeed here. If you're looking to put in minimal effort and skate by, you will be disappointed with your performance and your paycheck.

The majority of my colleagues are excellent, honest people who help each other succeed. The Alpharetta campus is a site to behold. I felt proud and safe coming to work. The Jackson family contributes to our community as a whole.
Cons
Leadership for this particular Jackson company lacks transparency, communication, and basic respect and gratitude for each colleague.
