I have been working at Jackson & Coker full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great company to work for. J & C treats people very well and provides tremendous benefits such as an on-site gym and restaurant. The technology is state of the art and the work environment is collaborative.

    Cons

Can't think of anything lacking in what they offer.

I have been working at Jackson & Coker full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    - Great amenities! They promote a healthy work/life balance which I imagine is especially important for the sales men and women. On-site clinic, gym, food hall, etc.
    - Bonus potential for everyone: everybody gets a chance to compete against themselves to do their job more efficiently and are rewarded for it!
    - The growth is exciting!
    - Character-filled: sure it's a company and every company needs to make money. Thankfully, this company does it's best to promote their values in everything they do!
    - If you don't fit where you are they will find a place you do fit!

    Cons

    - The PTO plan is a bit stingy and working from home is not allowed unless you are a "chosen one." That can be tough when you have a vacation planned but get sick a few weeks before you leave.
    - You have to take a full hour break each day so you end up at work longer than you have to be
    - The sales people are definitely the "golden children" of the company, but that doesn't bother everyone! I like playing on a team!

I have been working at Jackson & Coker full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Jackson & Coker is a role-model for how many more companies should be: Employee & Customer-centric. They hire people with great skills and attitude and provide a very comprehensive solution for employees including healthcare, fitness, lunches, vacation time, education and mentoring.

    Cons

Maybe could embrace the concept of telecommuting a bit more

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the great work.

I have been working at Jackson & Coker full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great leaders. Very supportive of work-life balance and creating a positive work environment for employees. I have watched them be continuously supportive of employees going through death of a parent, pregnancy and child-care issues. They have a gym and other amenities for their employees that really show they care.

    Cons

This is not the place for those with poor work ethic. It's a sales environment and you get what you put in.

    Advice to Management

Keep promoting the positive and supportive work culture as you grow.

I have been working at Jackson & Coker full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Beautiful building, on-site amenities are nice. Jackson family is epitome of all that is good! The new campus will be one of a kind!

    Cons

Management and Executive team do not know how to change business model to stay competitive. Stuck in their ways with egos as big as their paychecks. Use bullying and intimidation to pit employees against each other and play favorites. Big empty promises when you get hired.

    Advice to Management

Stop hiring your best friends, wives, sisters, neighbors and cousins! Listen to what your employees are telling you! Put your ego aside from 25 years ago when you did the job and don’t ask for feedback if you don’t want to know. The antics of your leadership team are embarrassing! Rick Jackson deserves to be better represented than this!!!

I have been working at Jackson & Coker full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

There are some nice people in recruiting who are trying to hold it together despite the lack of support

    Cons

Extremely dishonest recruiting practices. You are encouraged to tell doctors being recruited a lot of misinformation in order to get them on board and then pull out later if a better commission comes in. I’ve seen them hurt a lot of people.

    Advice to Management

You need to play by the rules and get a conscience. Senior management should at least pretend to be involved.
