Pros
Good work life balance and flexibility. Some training opportunities.
Cons
Pay is subpar, no bonus, and they will not give you your 401k match if you leave before Dec 31. You must be employed on that date or you don't get the match for the entire year. No HR or training support most of the time. If you're <10 years experience, go somewhere else.

The work environment & discipline leads I worked with were very flexible when it came to balancing work & home life.
Cons
A little behind the curve technology-wise. Adding more pertinent training to help individuals advance in their career would be ideal.

Pros
My job is in supporting USSOCOM. A great match for those that want a challenge and support the military, and especially want to be a part of the Special Forces mission. The work is challenging yet the work schedule is good with a nice work/life balance.
Cons
Most folks must work on site with limited opportunity to telework.

I had the opportunity to work with the best of the best globally and was given a lot of great projects to complete. Once you prove yourself, the sky is the limit, provided you have a good manager.
Cons
My work life balance was horrendous; already overloaded it didn't matter if I asked for help - it was always shot down. Micromanaging, lack of support and throwing your own employee under the bus will not help in lasting careers. Workload is unbalanced. Telling your team that maybe putting in more hours when you're already putting in 50+ is obnoxious.

Jacobs is a good company but ruined with lack of direction from middle management.
