    Pros

    Jacuzzi offers relatively fair compensation (no raises in the last three years) and good health benefits. The 401K is good with a small company match.

    Cons

    Management can send mixed messages and can be difficult to approach. Now that the economy is better it would be nice to see a base salary increase.

    Advice to Management

    If you have a more "open door" policy you might get better feedback from your employees. Right now there is fear of punishment if suggestions are made

    Several management changes over the years so there is no consistency with the policies and the morale in the company is kind of low.

    Pros

    Discount on baths & hot tubs; New leadership hailing from Black & Decker have strong business acumen and should breathe new life into the bubbles of Jacuzzi.

    Cons

    Unprofitable product mix leads to difficult to manage p&l. Product lineis too complex and senior leaders are reluctant to trim the fat. The large product portfolio makes it next to impossible to effectively market the right product to the right customers. Too much money is being spent on non-essential business tasks (such as trade show participation, customer events, trade ads). More focus must be placed on reconnecting the brand with consumers in order to drive sales.

    Advice to Management

    Simplify the product line by discontinuing slow moving items and those that are unprofitable.
