    Pros

    Management was always supportive and informative. The doors were always open to discuss concerns, opinions, and ways to improve service. Product education is valued. Management doesn't hover over you, but instead instills confidence to make choices. People are friendly, education and growth are encouraged.

    Cons

    The housing market determines company growth and expansion. It can be unstable at times.

    Pros

    Great opportunity for a college graduate; and the was friendly and helpful. You are also working with other interns which is fun.

    Cons

    Lack of direction and organization. As an intern, you are to learn about specific careers - I don't feel like I gained knowledge of different roles and opportunities.

    I worked at Jacuzzi Brands full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    Depends on who you work for. I worked for a few different people and the experience was so different with each one.Last boss respected work-personal life balance. Could come in late or leave early for occasional school or sports event. The people here are generally great, with opportunities to get together for fun outside work. Company makes an attempt to keep employees informed of financial results, projects and new products. Decent benefits, not the best but better than most. Affordable medical insurance options. 50% match on up to 6% of salary for 401k plan. Mall location is interesting, walk to several lunch places.

    Cons

    Bonuses are for managers and up, would have liked bonuses rethought to reward a broader group. Recently 3 years in a row no raises (that I know of) but did pass out raises finally last year. Experienced long-term employees not valued. Too many former Black and Decker people being brought in taking the best jobs. Few training opportunities. Salaried people have to take their vacation time for sick days (2 sick days accrued a year). Customer Service overworked, front line needs more resources and can't provide quality services. Product quality is a struggle, can't seem to figure it out, but graphs always showed improvement. Are presentations to make employees feel good or communicate real results?

    Advice to Management

    More development of employees, promote from within. Expand bonus program to more people. Give merit raises every year. Liked the quarterly communication meeting, keep it up.

    Pros

    Jacuzzi is a gobally known name and a "Fun" company to work for. Most positions have a good work / life balance. Company tries to overcome obstacles, but seems to have a lot of legacy issues dating back to the late 80's.

    Cons

    Horribly quality - Period. The top brass is constantly bringing in new senior management from outside vs. hiring from within. There is very little industry knowledge at the top as Jacuzzi has lost most of the people over the last several years. Most employees have 3-years or less experience at the company and only a couple have any industry experience. The company has had 8 Presidents in the last 8 years - too much transition from year to year. Due to the lack of industry knowledge, no one knows any of the customers any more hence there is no customer focus.

    Advice to Management

    Focus on your customers, improve quality, p/u some industry pro's to help you.
