I have been working at Jamba Juice part-time

    Pros

Jamba tends to hire a lot of students, so if you are also a student, it is a very fun place to work.

    Cons

Jamba is so corporate that it takes forever to get things the store needs like jugs and jams.

    Advice to Management

Keep communicating and sending positive feed back. We grown on positive feed back.

I have been working at Jamba Juice part-time

    Pros

The team members were all great and we always had fun

    Cons

The manager at the time was incompetent. Always put schedules out at last minute, and was very hands off. Degraded employee performance when he was hands on. Also, extremely high turn over

    Advice to Management

Those strategic meetings at 7 AM on Sundays. Take a day one week before the actual meeting and wake up as if you had to be at work then. Pretend you should be doing work, but then listen to your own presentation. Does it makes sense? Is there value in telling others about this? Are you too worried about what you should be doing instead of this? Ask these questions and more before you decide to have a pointless meeting, because if you can fix the issues before the presentation then the meeting won't be pointless.

I have been working at Jamba Juice part-time

    Pros

Jamba Juice is very fun to workout and your employees can become like a family if you engage in the friendly culture. Another benefit is getting to eat and drink Jamba products which are both healthy and delicious.

    Cons

It is hard to get the amount of hours you want and it is hard to get shifts covered when needed to. Lots of dishes to do and occasionally you get really rude customers.

    Advice to Management

Do a better job of keeping inventory, often we run out or our overstocked and that makes us throw out some fruits and veggies.

I have been working at Jamba Juice full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Depending on franchises everything can be amazing and have a lot of fun working

    Cons

Stores are all different and very difficult to hold each to the same standards

    Advice to Management

Incentives and growth are key to trying to keep people from quitting every 6 to 8 months and being "surprised"

I have been working at Jamba Juice part-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The work is easy and the product is great. It is nice to work in a food industry job that allows for a healthy lifestyle and won't leave you smelling like work.

    Cons

Hours are based on busy season and they are subject to change at any moment. Also ownership changes often which can sometimes bring change

    Advice to Management

The store works best when the staff likes being there. Instead of punching labor and sales work on staffing relatioknships which generally improves the results of the latter.

I have been working at Jamba Juice part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

-Overall good place to work and co-workers are some of the best parts of the job. always have really good hard working people who try to the best work possible.

-Flexible hours that help with school or other responsibilities

    Cons

-Can be difficult to get hours sometimes, and you can get cut even if the store is having a fairly steady day

-Not enough proper training being done with people being put into the mix without proper guidance

    Advice to Management

Understand that trying to keep labor at such low points is frankly not possible sometimes with the responsibilities that an entire store entails. Try to put yourself in the shoes of Team Member and see that they're not getting the proper tools to be able to do the best job possible.
