I have been working at Jamba Juice full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

It's a fast paced environment where you can serve the guests and have fun doing so. Half the time it doesn't even feel like work.

    Cons

There needs to be better management with more regular check ups on the store. Maybe even do employee performance reviews more regularly.

    Advice to Management

To my manager at the store I'm at, you need to actually follow the training guide given to you, and actually be up front with your employees not in the back on your phone

    Pros

Free food and juices on shift

    Cons

All the stuff they sell is actually super unhealthy, so even though it's free, you will still get fat consuming it. Jamba is losing to the real juice bars popping up. Don't bother with this company

    Advice to Management

Chill tf out its just smoothies

I have been working at Jamba Juice full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Good hours once at an management position. Fun work environment, guests and employees are cool.

    Cons

Not very flexible and they constantly blow up your phone.have to work all the time and don't get compensated for it. Upper management is not well organized. They tell you everything last minute. Pay is not very good for an GM, 15 hr is max. Franchise.

    Advice to Management

    Get back to the basics

    Pros

Great smoothies of course, fun people on an operations level, stores are franchised so each owner is different.

    Cons

Not a lot of support for upper management or corporate. Seems to be a lot of politics in corporate which ends up leading to a lot of costly bad decisions

    Pros

You are always busy and typically you can sample the smoothies and normally get one after your shift. Good practice meeting and greeting people. Will teach you to work hard.

    Cons

Very busy, minimum wage, hard hard work.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees with more value, minimum wage for continuous hard work doesn't cut it.

I worked at Jamba Juice part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Working at Jamba is fun and easy but the corporate culture is terrible. But it is an easy place to work and there are no requirements to get a job there.

    Cons

They make you wear terribly demeaning uniforms and listen to terrible music. The company was constantly raising prices and adding more ice or reducing scoop sizes to save, even though it made the product go down hill.

    Advice to Management

Youre going to lose out to smaller, local smoothie shops if you keep choosing profits over quality.

    Pros

Casual environment, ppl are friendly, you can learn to make your own smoothie and energy bowl.

    Cons

Location of the HQ is not ideal. Right in the heart of 580, 880 interchanges. No matter what direction you come from, there is always traffic.

Management is not very understanding and supportive. Some were not professional and had no experience in leading a team creating a none cooperative and low morale working environment.

Management is very fake. They say one thing and do something else. Can't really trust management team. They don't take care of their employees and not pay them well.

    Advice to Management

Glad that company is rebuilding a new team in Frisco Texas. Hopefully, management willing to pay to get better talent and stop low balling employees.

I worked at Jamba Juice full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

It's an easy and fun job. The product is good and healthy. Able to customize orders. The customers are friendly.

    Cons

The maintenance of the building was horrible. Machines were breaking down. we would get sent bad, melted products at times.

    Advice to Management

Don't own a franchise. it's much easier to be in a corporate situation so that the maintenance is required. Don't work for Mormons.

I worked at Jamba Juice part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

A surprisingly easy job, once you remember the recipes.

    Cons

Won't give you enough hours for even a lunch break. The machines were very old and most of them needed updating because they would break more then once.
