I worked at Jamba Juice part-time

    Pros

Every shift you got a free employee meal (16 oz. smoothie)
It's fun to make smoothies and the other workers were mostly okay.

    Cons

I think the pay could have been better. It was only $7.25 an hour. Good if you're working full time I guess?

I worked at Jamba Juice part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great first job. Easy to learn recipes/tasks. You become close to regulars and certain coworkers. Lots of team work

    Cons

Lots of high school hirees=crappy shifts with non-productive workers because they don't have the brain capacity to care enough

    Advice to Management

Train the team better. Then everything else falls into place. Training should be top priority

I worked at Jamba Juice full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

You work as hard as you want, Smelling like fruit, Easy to work with your schedule, fun atmosphere.

    Cons

Most shift leads are involved with one drug or another, and some stored bottles of alcohol in the ice bins. Shift leads either don't expect their shift team to work, or expect them to do all of the work.

    Advice to Management

Manage interviews better, and don't hire anyone that walks in asking for a job. Also, install cameras into your stores. It's ridiculous what associates get away with.

I worked at Jamba Juice part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

If your store gets business like most do, you'll always get pretty good hours. If you stay around 10 months to a year you can easily become a shift lead.

    Cons

Lots of sticky cleaning. Juicers, crathcos, you'll wash so much your arm skin is going to be destroyed, I eventually left because it was too much for my eczema. You have to be really fake too, like REALLY fake, more than just good customer service, that's expected, but depending on your manager you'll have to be cringe worthy peppy and happy.

    Advice to Management

TAKE BETTER CARE OF YOUR FREEZER.

I worked at Jamba Juice full-time

    Pros

    A lot of hands on
Learning about nutrition and food balance and proportions
I was able to learn a lot about the business, POS, DATA ENTRY, STOCK, INVENTORY, SCHEDULING, MANAGEMENT ETC. I've learned so much from Jamba Juice. Was told I should be the face of Jamba Juice. I've also received many business cards from the guests. I've met long life friends and coworkers .

    Cons

Finding someone to cover shift while sick. During that time I found out I was pregnant had morning sickness throughout the day. Called every store in district no one could cover, still showed up to work. Called coporate office, and was told what do you want me to do about it. Always helped and covered everyone's shift when they couldn't come in. Even when I was a shift lead was off and a team member needed their shift covered I did so. Always on time. Traveled to different stores when helped was need. Traveled to new store once the store I was originally working at closed down.

    Advice to Management

Actually listen to those who work for the company.

    Cons

furthering your position in the company was a headache, they made everything into a competition without recognizing efforts that were already being put in.
